Abstract

In this global era, information and technology become an important aspect to deal with global issue. Indonesia as emerging country has lost it's independence on this matter by depending too much on foreign technology. It needs to be change because in order to maintain it's independence in every aspect, Indonesia needs to achieve self-sufficient in technology and information aspect.. Patent Act No 14 Year 2001 is a first step to achieve that goal, it's include provision about license and mandatory license and every provision that follow. But as it's age is still young this act still got many loopholes that need to be closed, this paper hopefully can help to close that loopholes
