Indonesia is a tsunami-prone country, lies between three continent plates make it a necessity for Indonesia coastal citizens to be fully prepared to face the unforeseen disaster. After some research, writer found out that the coastal citizens are unaware of tsunami threat, this may occur because some socialization conducted by the government are unsuccessful to deliver tsunami mitigation messages to the citizens. To build preparedness, social campaign with vernacular/folksy tone and manner is needed so that the messages and information can be fully grasped by the coastal citizens without any reluctance. Target audiences will be coastal citizens of middle-low economy class, therefore, the information will be delivered with the use of local and folksy language through media that is convenient with their daily live
