In Law no. 30 In 2012, noted that the eradication of Corruption is defined as a series of measures to prevent and combat TPK through the coordination, supervision, monitoring, investigation and prosecution-investigation-examination in court with public participation. It also mentioned the involvement of the community in limitatif in Law. 31 of 1999 which states the public has rights and responsibilities in the prevention and eradication of corruption. The description shows and confirms, there is no basis of legitimacy for the college as a part of the community to be involved in the process of combating corruption. Furthermore, this paper will explain the strategic role of universities in the accelerated eradication of corruption, corruption in the perspective of the media, and also the facts and impact of corruption
