Optimisation of program solution for modification of blast furnace filling by adding new raw material (pellets)

Abstract

U zadatku ovog rada izvršena je izmjena programskog rješenja koje upravlja dijelom postrojenja za proizvodnju željeza zaduženog za kontrolu punjenja visoke peći. Pošto je cijeli sustav za kontrolu postrojenja za proizvodnju željeza izrađen kao DCS sustav, objašnjene su osnovne komponente DCS sustava kao i razlika DCS i PLC sustava. Isto tako, u radu je objašnjen način rada postrojenja za proizvodnju željeza s naglasom na dio postrojenja koji je zadužen za punjenje visoke peći. Nakon toga objašnjene su osnovne komponente programskog alata PCS 7. Navedeni su osnovni funkcijski blokovi zaduženi za kontrolu punjenja visoke peći te je objašnjena njihova funkcionalnost, a nakon toga objašnjene su sve izmjene u programskom rješenju koje je bilo potrebno načiniti kako bi se ostvarila željena funkcionalnost novog načina rada postrojenja.In this project a change was made to the software solution that manages the part of the iron production plant in charge of controlling the filling of the blast furnace. Since the entire control system of the iron production plant was designed as a DCS system, the basic components of the DCS system as well as the difference between the DCS and PLC systems are explained. Also, the paper explains the operation of the iron production plant with an emphasis on the part of the plant that is in charge of blast furnace filling. After that, the basic components of the PCS 7 software tool are explained. The basic function blocks in charge of blast furnace filling control are listed and their functionality is explained, after which all changes in the software solution that needed to be made in order to achieve the desired functionality of the new mode of operation of the plant are explained
