Pengaruh Penggunaan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Kelas X (Studi Eksperimen di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Cirebon)

Abstract

The success of the learning process can not be separated from the ability of teachers in determining and designing effective learning conditions can be done in various ways, including the use of media-oriented learning intensity increases student engagement in an interactive in the learning process. The purpose of this study were 1) to determine whether there is a significant average difference between learning outcomes between students who use a multimedia interactive learning with students using conventional learning media. 2) to assess students' response to use of multimedia interactive learning. In this research the writer uses true experimental methods and takes the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Cirebon as the population of the research. In the collecting the data, the writer gives the students two written tests which are given before treatment (pre-test) and after treatment (post-test). The populations are from the tenth grade in SMA Negeri 8 Cirebon in the 2012/2013 academic year, there are 261 people. Samples were taken by using simple random sampling by 2 classes of ninth grade as control class X.2 and X.3 class as an experiment class. The techniques of collection data is using tests to measure cognitive learning outcomes and using questionnaires to measure the affective learning outcomes and students' response to the use of multimedia interactive learning. Technique analysis data is using hypothesis testing Independent sample t-tests and analysis of test requirements is using the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality and Levene Statistic method two variances homogeneity test. Based on the results of concluded that learning by using multimedia interactive learning is better than learning using conventional media. This means that there are significant differences in learning outcomes between students who use a multimedia interactive learning with students using conventional learning media. The students' response to the use of multimedia interactive learning on economic subjects with basic competencies identified human need to have a good percentage. Thus, the use of multimedia interactive learning can be used as an alternative learning media to be used in teaching and learning activities.
