Pelaksanaan Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Home Room untuk Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa dalam Bidang Akademik di Smk Kartika 2 Surabaya

Abstract

The goal of research is to know about the benefit of group guidance using home room technique to increase students’ self confidences in academic of SMK Kartika 2 Surabaya. The research design is Pre-experiment with One-Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The subjects were five students who failed to be promoted in school of SMK Kartika 2 Surabaya whose low self confidence in academic. The data collection technique was questionnaire of self confidence in academic which is adapted from the theory of self-confidence by Hakim (2006). The kind of questionnaire was closed questionnaire with 4 answer options which consist of very agree, agree, less agree, and disagree. The data analysis was non parametric statistic with sign test. So we could know that ρ = 0,031 less than α as big as 5% = 0,05. It means that after the group guidance service using home room technique, the students’ self confidences in academic of SMK Kartika 2 Surabaya were increased.
