Abstract

Research on the level of lay-up basketball junior secondary students Islam Al-Azhar 17 Pontianak How aimed to determine the ability of shoot lay-up men's basketball in grade IX student in secondary school of Islam Al-Azhar 17 Pontianak. Forms of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive study using survey methods. Results of the research capabilities basketball lay-up in Junior High School students Islam Al-Azhar 17 Pontianak is (1) lay-up from the right by the number of average value is 5.57. (2) Lay-up from the left by the number of average value is 4.4. So overall average value or mean is 4.99
