Pengaruh NAA Dan BAP Terhadap Pertumbuhan Jaringan Meristem Bawang Putih Pada Media B5

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Tissue Culture Laboratory of Indonesian Vegetable Research Institute from June-October 2004. The experiment design was RCD factorial with 20 test tubes per treatment, each test tube consist of 3 ml medium. The treatments were garlic meristem of cv. Lumbu Hijau, planted in B5 medium with supplement NAA (0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, and 10 mg/l), BAP (0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, and 10 mg/l). After the meristem have been proliferated then transfered to B5 medium with hormone IAA 8 mg/l and Kinetin 2.5 mg/l. The results indicated that there were interaction between treatment NAA and BAP on leaf number, plantlet height, and root number per plantlet. The best results were NAA 0 mg/l with BAP 2.5-7.5 mg/l for leaf number, NAA 0 mg/l with BAP 2.5 mg/l for plant height; NAA 2.5 mg/l with BAP 2.5 mg/l for number of roots per plantlets, respectively
