Svetosavlje or Saint-Savaness is a term coined in the early 1930s by the students of the Faculty of Theology, University of Belgrade, named after the Serbian medieval nobleman and the first archbishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Saint Sava Nemanjić (1175-1236).
