This article presents the results of a doctorate research on the representations of the feminine and the sacred transmitted in the speeches of the origins and expansion of Tawantinsuyo. In this research intersect two objectives: first, the analysis of images transmitted in the chronicles of the centuries XVI and XVII and in the historiography of the second half of the century XX; and second, the search of indications in those speeches that represent a rupture with the outlines that instituted a masculine/feminine essence and a biological determination of the identities and social papers in the history.Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa de doutorado sobre as representações do feminino e o sagrado veiculadas nos discursos das origens e expansão do Tawantinsuyo. Nesta pesquisa se entrecruzam dois objetivos: primeiro, a “desconstrução” de imagens veiculadas nas crônicas dos séculos XVI e XVII e na historiografia da segunda metade do século XX; e segundo, a procura de indícios nesses discursos que representem uma ruptura com os esquemas que instituíram uma essência feminina/masculina e uma determinação biológica das identidades e papéis sociais na história
