O Direito Achado na Rua: 25 Anos de Experiência de Extensão

Abstract

Este artigo trata da experiência desenvolvida pela corrente crítica denominada “O Direito Achado na Rua”, seus fundamentos teóricos e práticas realizadas nos últimos vinte e cinco anos na UnB. Neste texto, foram selecionados os principais projetos implementados na área da extensão universitária relacionados aos temas do direito, justiça, direitos humanos, trabalho, saúde, questão agrária, moradia, educação popular e gênero. Essas diferentes iniciativas configuram uma proposta voltada para a educação em direitos humanos e a cidadania.   Abstract: This article addresses the experience of the critical stream of scholarship called “The law found on the streets”, including its theoretical basis and the practical outcomes it has generated over the past 25 years at the University of Brasilia (UnB).The article focuses on leading projects of community service in the areas of law, justice, human rights, labor,health, land use, dwelling, community education, and gender. Together, these different initiatives amount to a common, pedagogical project on human rights and citizenship
