Abstract
No governo militar, além da censura prévia, existiu também uma repressão difusa aos meios de comunicação, exercida a partir de métodos como: vigilância, perseguição e punição de jornalistas e coação dos veículos da imprensa alternativa a partir de auditorias fiscais e controle de publicidade governamental, entre outros meios. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal: identificar e analisar as formas e os momentos de restrição à circulação da imprensa alternativa e estudantil nacional e local durante a Ditadura Militar. A partir de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, foi realizada uma análise documental dos materiais presentes em arquivos e comissões da verdade. Verificou-se que a imprensa alternativa e estudantil de Brasília entraram no radar da repressão do governo militar e tiveram sua circulação ameaçada por apreensões de exemplares, ataques a vendedores, assim como, a partir da extinção forçada de jornais.In the military government, in addition to prior censorship, there was also a diffuse repression of the media, exercised through methods such as: surveillance, persecution and punishment of journalists and coercion of alternative press vehicles through tax audits and government advertising control, among other means. In this context, the present work has as main objective: to identify and analyze the forms and moments of restriction to the circulation of the national and local alternative and student press during the Military Dictatorship. From an exploratory and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, a documental analysis of the materials present in archives and truth commissions was carried out. It was found that the alternative and student press in Brasília entered the radar of the military government's repression and had its circulation threatened by seizures of copies, attacks on sellers, as well as, from the forced extinction of newspapers
