Para qualquer investidor, credor ou analista é sempre importante saber o nível de solidez
financeira da empresa que está a avaliar, existindo actualmente alguns métodos que fazem
referência à solidez da empresa, nenhum testa realmente essa solidez nem tão pouco existe um
modelo que não só submeta a empresa a um Stress Test como ainda calcule um valor para
essa mesma solidez.
Nesta tese apresenta-se um modelo que possibilita saber o valor da Solidez Financeira da
Empresa, focando-nos nas áreas Operacional, de Balanço e de Auto-Financiamento, testando
a capacidade de resistência da empresa a aumentos dos custos, diminuição das receitas,
desvalorização dos activos e ainda da deterioração da sua tesouraria. Tendo ainda apresentado
rácios e indicadores úteis à análise dessa mesma solidez e que permitam a comparação desta
com outras empresas e/ou sectores.For any investor, creditor or analyst it’s always important to know the level of financial
soundness of the company he’s evaluating, currently there are some methods which refer to
the health of the company but none actually tests the soundness nor is there a model that not
only submits the company to a Stress Test but even calculates a value for that Soundness.
In this thesis we present a model that allows us to know the value of financial soundness of
the company, focusing on areas like, Operational, Balance and Internal Fund Generation, by
testing the resilience of the company's increased costs, decreased revenue, devaluation of
assets and also the deterioration of its liquidity. We also present ratios and indicators useful
for the analysis of the soundness and allow it’s comparison with other companies and sectors
