Evento realizado pela Associação Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (ANCIB) e organizado pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de João Pessoa (PPGCI/UFPB).Estudo sobre a regulamentação da Lei de Acesso à Informação na Região Nordeste. Objetiva-se identificar a regulamentação da LAI nos nove estados da Região Nordeste e é parte de uma pesquisa de doutorado em Ciência da Informação em desenvolvimento. A configuração metodológica dessa pesquisa dá-se pela abordagem qualitativa com a pesquisa descritiva, bibliográfica e documental. A coleta de dados foi feita por meio do levantamento nos portais da CGU e portais governamentais dos estados da Região Nordeste. Identificou-se que a Lei de Acesso à Informação é realidade nesses estados, excetuando o estado do Rio Grande do Norte, a sanção do executivo estadual. Verificou-se que, de forma geral, a regulamentação da Lei de Acesso à Informação nos estados da Região Nordeste se apresentam em conformidade com o preconizado pela lei nacional. Concluímos que a existência da regulamentação da Lei de Acesso à Informação nessa região expressa um esforço para uma cultura de transparência dos atos governamentais e para o exercício do cidadão de forma mais ativa.Study on the regulation of the Law on Access to Information (LAI) in the Northeast. The objective is to identify the regulation of LAI in the nine states of the Northeast, an activity that is part of a PhD research in Information Science and is in progress. The methodology of this research follows a qualitative approach with descriptive, bibliographical and documentary research. Data collection was performed by collecting on the portals of CGU and government portals of the Northeast states. It was identified that the Law on Access to Information is reality in these states, except for the state of Rio Grande do Norte, the sanction of the state executive. It was found that, in general, the regulation of the Law on Access to Information in the states of the Northeast are presented in accordance with the recommendations by national law. We conclude that the existence of regulations of the Law on Access to Information in this region expresses an effort to a culture of transparency of government actions and to exercise more actively the citizen
