Abstract
Este trabalho busca indicar o lugar que o pintor romeno Victor Brauner possuía dentro do grupo surrealista francês sob o comando de André Breton. Nesse sentido, foram estudadas publicações, folhetos e exposições de 1930 a 1946, ano em que o pintor produz Arquitetura Pentacular e Taça da Dúvida. Duas obras em cera pigmentada adquiridas pelo Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) em 1947. O objetivo é compreender a visibilidade de Brauner a partir do grupo até a confecção das referidas obras. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTOur project sought to indicate the place the Romanian painter Victor Brauner possessed within the French surrealist group under the command of André Breton. For this undertaking, we studied publications, literature and exhibitions from 1930 to 1946, the year in which the painter produces Arquitetura Pentacular and Taça da Dúvida. Two works in pigmented wax, acquired by the São Paulo Art Museum (MASP) in 1947. The object is to understand the visibility of Brauner from the grouping until the confection of the referred to works
