Abstract - The development ofcommunication technology in Indonesia,especially in urban areas encouraging thedevelopment of telecommunications supportfacilities. One of them is a telecommunicationstower that is commonly called the tower.DISHUBKOMINFO is a governmentdepartment that has the authority to handle theaffairs of the establishment permit of tower. Thisstudy aims to create a system that able to assistthe Department in making decisions todetermine the potential feasibility of the locationin establishing tower in Pontianak as a controlof building arrangement. In the process of ofanalysis, this study uses the Profile Matching asthe method and using the criteria of land use,population density and the attitude of therecipient as a basic criterion in the method. Inthe implementation carried out some kind of avalue to each criterion will then be comparedwith the value of the profile so that it can beseen the value of their competence or the socalled gap. The smaller the gap, the resultingpossibility value will be greater, which means ithas a greater chance of being selected to berecommended in this case as the location of theestablishment of tower. This system was createdas a tool to facilitate the users in managingtabular data that displayed in the form of a map.This research resulted in ranking the potentiallocation to be the place of the establishment thenew of tower
