Abstract

Production engineering is a combination of manufacturing technology, engineering sciences. A production engineer typically has a wide knowledge of engineering practices and is aware of challenges related to production. In addition to this the materials science combines the properties, production methods and structure of materials and creates the matrix of knowledge that enables the successful design of a material.
