AbstractThis chapter argues for the importance of ideation in design processes.We present three paper-based tools for ideation to be used at a meetingor a workshop tailored specifically to the museum sector and developedin collaboration with museum professionals. Each tool targets a differentphase of the design process. There is a tool for generating ideas, strengthening ideas and testing ideas. The chapter accounts for the what, when, howand why of these ideation tools. Finally, we discuss how the tools can beused in combination and how they can encourage reflection
