Les parures annulaires bretonnes et ligériennes du Bronze moyen atlantique 2 : actualisation des données contextuelles et chronologiques

Abstract

International audienceIn the North-West of France, metallic production during the second half of the Middle Bronze Age is characterised by the deposit of stereotyped groups of objects, mainly palstaves and bracelets, which are excellent cultural and chronological indicators of this period.The integration of many heteroclite or mixed hoards in the inventories of Middle Bronze Age 2 metal production has biased the study of context and of object association. Also, the important differences from one author and one paper to another in the number of objects dated to this period has encouraged a critical sorting of the existing data. This is why the bibliography and many of the artefacts were re-examined in order to ascertain the authenticity of certain hoards and for others to establish their provenance.Dans le nord-ouest français, la production métallique du Bronze moyen 2 est caractérisée par le dépôt d’ensembles stéréotypés, regroupant essentiellement des haches à talon, fréquemment associées à des parures annulaires. Ces dernières s’avèrent être d’excellents indicateurs chronoculturels pour la seconde partie du Bronze moyen.L’intégration de nombreux dépôts hétéroclites ou mélangés dans les différents inventaires des productions métalliques du Bronze moyen atlantique 2 biaise l’étude des contextes et des associations de mobilier. De plus, la variation importante du nombre d’objets attribués à cette période d’un auteuret d’une publication à l’autre nous a incitée à réaliser un tri critique dans les données existantes. C’est pourquoi la bibliographie et de nombreux objets ont été réexaminés, en vue de questionner la réalité de certains dépôts douteux et, pour d’autres, d’en rétablir la provenance
