The principles of protection and shaping of rural settlement landscape detailed in planning documentation, with the Godziszów commune (Lublin voivodeship) as a case in point

Abstract

W publikacji przedstawiono zasady ochrony i kształtowania krajobrazu osiedli wiejskich sformułowane na podstawie literatury. Zagadnienia te skonfrontowano następnie z zapisami planu miejscowego oraz ze zmianami, jakie rzeczywiście zaszły na badanym obszarze od czasu uchwalenia planu. Obszar badań objął gminę wiejską położną w południowej części Lubelszczyzny. Na ostatnim etapie pracy określono stopień, w jakim zapisy obowiązującego planu są realizowane przez nowe formy zagospodarowania. W efekcie zidentyfikowano szereg problemów związanych zarówno z nieprawidłowościami i brakami w zapisach planów miejscowych, jak i niespójnościami zapisów planistycznych z rzeczywistym zagospodarowaniem terenu gminy. Wskazane zostały również postulowane kierunki zmian w polityce przestrzennej gminy.The paper presents the principles regarding the protection and shaping of rural settlement landscape, drawn up on the basis of literature analyses. The authors confront the principles with the provisions of local planning documentation and the actual changes in the commune that have taken place since the plan was adopted. Finally, the authors determine the degree of implementation of the provisions. They identify some irregularities and shortcomings in the provisions and some differences between the provisions and actual spatial development. They also indicate the main directions of changes of local spatial policy
