W artykule opisano rodzaje układów oczyszczania spalin występujące w pojazdach osobowych i ciężarowych. Usystematyzowano wiedzę na temat rozwiązań technicznych stosowanych w tych układach. Określono przyczyny zanieczyszczenia oraz zablokowania filtrów cząstek stałych i wskazano metody ich regeneracji.The article describes the types of exhaust after-treatment systems in vehicles and trucks. It presents a systematized knowledge about various technological solutions used in those systems. Moreover, it identifies the causes of pollution or particle filters blockage and suggests methods of their regeneration
