Abstract

The blood sugar lowering effect of the aqueous extract of Sarcocephalus latifolius S. M. (Rubiaceae) and Daniella oliveri Rolfe (Caesalpiniaceae) roots (250mg/kg) was investigated on normoglycaemic and alloxan induced diabetic rats.
