The analysis of the diagnostic procedures of steering systems in automobiles

Abstract

W artykule opisano budowę układów kierowniczych pojazdów osobowych wspomaganych hydraulicznie oraz elektrycznie. Wskazano najczęstsze uszkodzenia układów kierowniczych. Usystematyzowano wiedzę na temat procesów diagnostycznych wykonywanych podczas kontroli układów kierowniczych.This article describes the structure of steering systems in automobiles with hydraulic or electric power steering. It presents the most common damages of the steering systems and offers a systematic approach to the knowledge about diagnostic procedures performed while examining steering systems
