Application of low-cost wireless modules in home lighting automation

Abstract

W artykule zaprezentowano niedrogi system zdalnego sterowania oświetleniem w budynku. Dokonano krótkiego przeglądu dostępnych na rynku, gotowych rozwiązań. Zaproponowano własną strukturę sterowania wykorzystując tanie moduły bezprzewodowe. Przedstawiono projekt najistotniejszych elementów systemu. Omówiono sposób oprogramowania modułów oraz nadrzędną aplikację sterującą. Artykuł zawiera ocenę systemu, z uwzględnieniem możliwości modyfikacji i usprawnień.The paper presents a low-cost remote control of house lighting system. A short overview on the market ready-to-use solutions is included. Proposed control structure, using low-cost wireless modules is described. A project of the most important elements of the system is described. Software development process is presented. Article is summarized by the assessment of the system with an indication of possible modifications and improvements
