In short, plasma extracellular vesicles (EV) were isolated from 500 µL of platelet poor plasma of healthy volunteers and characterised by nanoparticle tracking analysis, protein concentration assay (BCA), targeted EV protein array, unbiased proteomics and targeted sphingolipidomics.
