Ozonetherapy is used for the treatment of immunodeficiency syndromes as
well as for the treatment of cardiovascular disease. It is also used for
the treatment of low back-pain with promising results although it is not
yet well established.
The aim of the current study is the presentation of the effects of
ozonetherapy injected intradiscally or paravertebrally.
We present the histological, immunological and biochemical changes in
vertebral discs. Our material consist of human specimens as well as New
Zealand rabbits
