This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Bankinang Branch Office. The population in this study were 65 employees. Sampling used the purposive sampling method in which a portion of the population was sampled as many as 30 contract employees. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while the data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study is a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of contract employees at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Bangkinang Branch Office. The level of relationship between the two variables is in the medium category, which means the ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable is good
