ICT didactic implementation for reading and writing strengthening

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación busca dar respuesta a la pregunta ¿cuáles son las características de una estrategia didáctica mediada por las TIC que pretende fortalecer los procesos de lectura y escritura en los estudiantes del grado primero? Esta estrategia se implementó en el colegio INEM Francisco de Paula Santander en Bogotá durante el año 2019 con 35 estudiantes de grado primero. La investigación toma como presupuestos teóricos el desarrollo de habilidades lectoescritoras mediadas por el método global y las potencialidades de las TIC, el aprendizaje significativo y el aprendizaje cooperativo. Se adoptó una metodología mixta de carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo para la interpretación y descripción del problema de investigación. Cómo resultados se obtienen avances significativos en los procesos de lectura y escritura de los estudiantes y se concluye que el método global enriquecido con la multimodalidad posibilita el aprendizaje natural, lúdico, participativo y fortalece la creatividad y la imaginación.This research work seeks to answer the next question: What are the characteristics of an ICT-mediated didactic strategy that aims to strengthen the reading and writing processes in first grade students? This strategy was implemented at the INEM Francisco de Paula Santander school in Bogotá, during the year 2019, with 35 first grade students. The research takes as theoretical assumptions the development of literacy skills mediated by the global method and the ICT potential, meaningful and cooperative learning. For the interpretation and description of the research problem, was adopted a mixed qualitative and quantitative methodology. As results, significant advances are obtained in the reading and writing processes of the students, and it is concluded that the global method enriched with multimodality enables natural, playful, participatory learning and strengthens creativity and imagination
