Assessing the effects of perceived qualities on e-learning students’ attitude, learning engagement, and stickiness during COVID-19

Abstract

This paper presents a conceptual framework to explore the effect of e-learning on students’ perception and behaviour during COVID-19. To accomplish this goal, this paper will develop a new research framework building on a review of an extensive literature on the user’s perceived qualities, attitude, engagement, and stickiness in the context of e-services. Based on an online survey questionnaire, this research is expected to compare the effects of students’ perceived qualities and identify the driving factors of students’ stickiness to e-learning platforms. From the theoretical side, this study will contribute to the IS body of knowledge on e-learning and students’ performance. On the practical side, this study provides insight for higher education institutions, researchers and academics in the development of appropriate strategies for improving e-learning delivery and practices
