Abstract

The researcher was entitled the tourist service communication strategy (a qualitative study of the tourism service communication strategy in promoting the coastal tourist attraction of jayapura city of hamadi). The purpose of this study was to learn and analyze the communication strategies made by the tourist service in promoting the coastal tourist attraction of the jayapura city of hamadi. Communication isa process that has many separate but interrelated steps at all times. Human communication isa process through which individuals in relationships, groups, organizations, and societies make and use information to relate to one another and to the environment. In general, communication is not only natural human activity but also human behavior in filling their social and economic systems. The study is also aimed at identifying factors that support and block the promotion of the jayapura beach attraction to hamadi city of jayapura in dealing with such. The study USES qualitative descriptive study methods, that is, research that is directed to describe symptoms, facts or events systematically and accurately describe the properties of research and analyze their truths based on data obtained.
