Azizkhani1, G. R. Rasulian2 , A. Kharazi-Pakdel2 , S. E. Sadeghi 1, M. Tavakoli3 and G. Melika4  During 2003-2004, an investigation was carried out on parasitoid fauna of different galls  induced by cynipid wasps on two species of oak trees (Quercus brantii and Q. infectoria) in Ghalai region in north-west of Lorestan Province. Eight parasitoid species were collected from the galls (late April to early July), of which six species are new record (marked with *) for Iran.  Ormyridae: Ormyrus  nitidulus* (Fabricius, 1804), O. pomaceus* (Geoffroy, 1785) Torymidae: Torymus geranii* (Walker, 1833), Megastigmus stigmatizans* (Fabricius, 1798), M. dorsalis (Fabricius, 1798) Eurytomidae: Sycophila variegata* (Thomson, 1876), S. biguttata* (Swederus, 1795) Eupelmidae: Eupelmus urozonus Dalman 1820 All of these species belong to superfamily Chalcidoidea and were confirmed by the last author.
