O imaginário turístico na obra Portugal de Relance: Uma mitanálise

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the image of Portugal in the narrative of the biographical and non-fictional experiences of Maria Rattazzi, author of Portugal at a glance. This analysis also seeks to understand and identify symbolic images of the country using as analytical support the mythical Portuguese imaginary diagnosed by the anthropologist Gilbert Durand, with an analytical methodology called myth-analysis by the theorist, which seeks to identify myths, archetypes and symbols. With this interpretative reading, we could observe how it is possible to find clues to the founding myths of the imaginary of a culture and how this underlies the construction of a tourist imaginary of a destination
