Abstract

The social realities in the religious ritual and Islamicpractices or events, such as tahlil for deceased and ceremonyto attain Allah‟s blessing, celebration, congratulations, andsuch events are often encountered in the midst of theIslamic community. Surah Yasin has been probably the mostfrequently read chapters of the Quran, in our country.Numerous benefits are associated with its reading, especiallyin the mornings or whenever there is any difficult situation;or if someone is critically ill; or just for barakah. You getinvited for reading it in gatherings; like khatam-e-Quran,khatam-e-Yasin is a familiar and popular ritual, believed tobe the remedy for all sorts of problems. Surah Yasin booksthat printed by various publishers; some with Arabic-Latinwriting and translation, Arabic-Latin, and only the Arabicscript. From that various publishers, found many mistakes inwriting which circulated and read by the Muslim communityin the ritual-religious. The central issue which this article willanswer: What errors are in the Surah Yasin Books thatcirculated in the Muslim society? and how to limit thecirculation of Surah Yasin Books is not examined in Muslimsociety
