Abstract

The present invention describes a method for preparing a ruthenium catalyst with a carbon matrix, consisting of the following steps: (a) mixing a ruthenium compound with an organic compound in the presence of a solvent; (b) subjecting the mixture to hydrothermal conditions; and (c) washing and drying.
