A Study on Thermal Properties of Epoxy Materials in A Dry-type Transformer

Abstract

Dry-type transformers play an important role and are used everywhere in our life, especially places where fire safety is required such as pits, civil and industrial projects. Thus, study of thermal problems in the dry-type transformer to find out the local hot spot in windings is always a topical topic that domestic and foreign researchers are very concerned. In parallel to the experimental measurement, this issue can be solved by simulating with the input parameters being the thermal conductivity λ, thermal diffusivity  and specific heat cp. Recently, there are several studies on heat coefficients of the epoxy material, but still getting several errors when applying in Vietnam. Therefore, in this article, authors have researched to produce a device for measuring the thermal coefficients of the epoxy material in the dry-type transformer
