Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Metode Jigsaw terhadap Keterampilan Menyimak Siswa SD

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of cooperative model of jigsaw method to the listening skill of grade V students of Elementary School 11 Pontianak Kota. The method used is experimental method. Form of pre-experimental design, type of experiment one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study is all students of class V Elementary School Pontianak City 11 which consists of 2 classes, namely VA and VB, which amounted to 53 students. The sample is a VB class of 26 students. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques. Data collection tool in the form of test with multiple choice form amounted to 40 problem. The result of the research is the average pre-test score 52,5, meanwhile post-test 65, t Test price tcount compared with ttable with dk = 26- 1 = 25 and significant level (α) 0,01 obtained ttable price = 2.787, it turns thitung ≥ ttable or 3,412 ≥ 2,787 means significant, it is concluded that Ho is rejected, on the contrary Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that, there is influence the use of cooperative model of jigsaw method of listening skill of class V students of State Elementary School 11 Pontianak City. The influence of the use of cooperative model of jigsaw method to the listening skill of grade V students of Pontianak City Elementary School is 0.87 with high category
