Penerapan Metode Penemuan Terbimbing Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Pada Materi Trigonometri

Abstract

This research aims to know the difference mathematical representation ability after being taught with guided learning method and discovery learning in trigonometry's topic at MAN 2 Pontianak. The method of the research was experiment method in form of Quasi Experimental Design. The sample of this research is students of X IIK as an experimental class and students of X IIS 2 as the control class. From the analysis of the data showed that there is a positive influence on the mathematical representation ability after being taught with guided learning and the discovery learning. From the value of normalized gain, 0.717 at experimental class and 0,57 at control class, it showed that the mathematical representation ability of students after being taught with guided learning method is higher than after being taught discovery learning. It proved significantly from the value of t> t table is 13.509> 2.010
