Integrasi Ayat-ayat Al-Quran dalam Seloko Adat Jambi: Transformasi Dakwah Kultural

Abstract

Islam spread in the community that generally has had a tradition or customs deeply rooted and hereditary inherited from their ancestors. Islam when dealing with an established custom prosecuted showed wisdom (al-hikmah), and Islam in reality able to manifest his wisdom with the approach of preaching peacefully, gradually, into the daily culture of the community. The research objective is to explore and display the integration of Islam into the Malay community, especially Jambi malay, in the traditional maxim called Seloko. The research method is content analysis and the analysis on relation between the two sources, the Qur'an and customs Jambi contained in Seloko. The results showed a strong relationship, even integration between the Qur'an and indigenous Seloko Jambi. With the integration of culturally Islamic preaching opportunities in Jambi is wide open
