Pemanfaatan Koleksi Electronic Local Content (Studi Kasus Pada Perpustakaan Universitas Brawijaya Malang)

Abstract

: Collection Usage Electronic Local Content in Brawijaya University Library.(Case Study on University Library of Brawijaya Malang) The purpose of this study was to determine, describe and analyze the USAge of electronic local content collection available at Brawijaya University Library. This study uses a case study with a qualitative approach for library research. This study uses the same data analysis approach, which is working with the data, organization, and solving the data, analysis and conclusion. Results of research conducted showed thatalthough many library user who visited the local content space but library user prefer to use a printed collection facilities due to the access that has a major influence on the frequency library user the number of computers that still amounts to seven. The purpose of library user to meet the information needs is good. library user capability in searching collection of electronic local content is good because it is supported by the service system that makes it easy to access. The role of librarians in the use collection of electronic local content that has been performing well is to identify the new reference materials, manage budgets reference, the role of librarians in the use collection of electronic local content that has not done well is promoting new reference materials for electronic
