In the era of globalization, the technology for obtaining information, either audio or visual information, has increasingly developed in many ways. Information can be delivered through various means of media, one of which is the show of drama as a medium for people to find out the current trending information. One type of dramas is Korean drama, whose players and fashions are much favored by public. The need to meet the image will make an individual perform a variety of ways like imitating the shows of Korean dramas that he/she enjoys watching. The objective of this study was to find out the effect of modeling behavior for Korean drama shows on self-image of Korean drama teenage fans. The hypothesis of this study was that there was effect of modeling behavior for Korean drama shows on self-image of Korean drama teenage fans. Subjects in this study were 70 community members of Enex Entertainment. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the scales of self-image and modeling behavior. The data were then analyzed using a simple linear regression. The results showed that the value of t count < t table (-14.677 < 1.667), with t value of -14.677, indicating that there was a negative relationship between modeling behavior and self-image; the higher the modeling behavior, the lower the self-image, and vice versa. When the variable of modeling behavior increased by 1 point, the variable of self-image decreased by 1.282 points. The effect of modeling behavior for Korean drama shows on self-image was 76% while 24% was from other factors not examined in this study
