Analisis Sfc Pada Bandar Udara Sultan Syarief Kasim II Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study about aviation safety of the air side infrastructure. Accident often occur on the runway. According to data from the year 2007 – 2012, KNKT states that airports are the most accidents on the runway is Sultan Syarief Kasim II, Pekanbaru. This study aimed at improving aviation safety on runway. The analysis is done by analyzing the surface roughness of the runway which is expressed the SFC (Side Friction Coeffisien) value every grid. The SFC value cannot be generated from the average MU Meter test as it won't risk any accidents on runway. The result showed that Sultan Syarief Kasim II airport, in Pekanbaru has different distribution of SFC value at each location and has risk in causing fatal accidents on airplanes at all locations(the value of SFC is under 0.55).
