Nilai Korelasi Antara Ukuran Tubuh Dan Ambing Induk Domba Lokal Jonggol Terhadap Produksi Susu

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to know corelation between of the body and udder measurements jonggol ewes of milk yield. This research was done in the Jonggol Animal Science, Teaching and Research Unit Of Institut Pertanian Bogor (Jastru-IPB) for five mounth. Eighty nine ewes comprises of lactating on average 1-5 years old were used in this research. The ewes were grazed from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m and housed at night. The result showed that jonggol ewes age 1-1,5 year (I1) and 2-3 year (I2) not significan efect of corelation of body and udder measurements of milk yield but ewes age 3-4 (I3)year and 4-5 year (I4) significantly efect corelation of chest girth, udder girth and udder height of milk yield
