Peran Pustakawan Di Upt Perpustakaan Universitas Khairun Ternate Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Baca Mahasiswa

Abstract

Education is a scientific institution to learning, inspect, research and to develop the science in a freeway and objectives. That's why the library is a must in university to give the information and knowledge to student. The librarian's role is to organizer information source or provide and develop the information resource that relevant with customer's needs and comprehensive; so, the librarian need to have any information and always try to get a clear and comprehensive information.This research method is qualitative method. Qualitative research is the research that describe the fact that happened in the location of this researchThe conclusion of this research is: the librarian's role is to improve the student enthusiasm to read a book in UPT Perpustakaan Khairun Ternate isn't fully. The factor that make the librarian's role doesn't complete is the librarian's background, there is no facilities to improve their skills and they are lack of socialization
