Pengaruh Pemakaian Pelembab Yang Salah Terhadap Kejadian Akne Vulgaris Berat Pada Mahasiswi Studi Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Diponegoro

Abstract

Background: Acne vulgaris is a skin disease that often occurs in adolescents and young adults. The prevalence of acne vulgaris in women's events took place around 14-17 years of age. The degree of acne is divided into mild, moderate and severe. Use of wrong moisturizer, excessive USAge, changing moisturizer, poor moisturizer treatment, and used of the active ingredients in moisturizer that are not appropriate can be a risk factor for the occurrence of acne vulgaris. This study analyzed the effect of moisturizer use towards the incidence of acne vulgaris.Objective : This study analyzed the influence of incorrect application moisturizer use towards the incidence of acne vulgaris severe.Methods: This study is an observational research with cross sectional design involving a sample of 64 female students, their aged between 18 -25 years old, willing to sign informed consent. Collected data are primary data by filling out the questionnaire and the examination of acne vulgaris. Data were analyzed using fisher test, with significance level of p <0.05.Results of the study: The degrees of acne vulgaris due to incorrect application moisturizer suffered by most of the respondents are mild and moderate (20,48%), and severe (6,4%). Age of majority who suffers acne vulgaris was 21 years (36,50%), family history who have less affects to acne vulgaris (44,44%), stress factors effect on acne vulgaris (66,60%), food that affect acne vulgaris occurence the most is beans (37,14%) and fries (20%), menstruation affect the occurence of acne vulgaris (69,84%). There was no the effect of incorrect application moisturizer use towards the incidence of acne vulgaris severe (p = 0.193).Conclusion: The degrees of acne vulgaris due to incorrect application moisturizer suffered by most of the respondents are mild and moderate (20,48%), and severe (6,4%).
