Elkarteak eta gizarte mugimendu berriak ondare historikoaren inguruan

Abstract

Associations as well as the social movements for the protection of the heritage actively participate in the management of cultural affairs, which has been manifest over the last few decades. We are dealing with a collectivism whose aim is to achieve the development and social, economic and heritage appraisal of a land, and which inevitably becomes an essential tool for the local heritage development, together with the private and the institutional sphere. Their main goals are motivating and involving society through participation, dissemination and education, which will make members of society feel the heritage to be their own, and also part of their identity. In the following roundtable discussion, we will give voice to different groups and collectives which put all their efforts into working for society. Both the university associations, those that are part of the research, education and dissemination sphere, and the cooperatives, share a similar set of aims and motivations. We will try to analyse in a joint effort those new social movements, as well as the needs and the purpose of these collectives in 21st century citizenship.Las Asociaciones, así como los nuevos movimientos sociales para el patrimonio histórico, forman parte activa en la gestión cultural que vislumbramos de una década a estos días. Se trata de un colectivismo que busca el desarrollo y la valorización patrimonial, social y económica de un territorio, y que se convierte, por necesidad, junto con el ámbito de lo privado y lo institucional, en una indispensable herramienta de desarrollo patrimonial del ámbito local. Entre sus objetivos están el movilizar e implicar a la Sociedad a través de la participación, la difusión y la educaciónhasta conseguir que la ciudadanía sienta que ése Patrimonio le pertenece y forma parte de su identidad. En la siguiente mesa redonda, ponemos en diálogo a diferentes colectivos que dedican sus esfuerzos a trabajar por y para la sociedad. Desde las asociaciones universitarias, las del ámbito de la investigación, la educación y la difusión, hasta las cooperativas, descubriremos que comparten una suerte común de objetivos y motivaciones. Trataremos de analizar, entre todos, estos nuevos movimientos sociales, así como las necesidades y la función de dichos colectivos en la ciudadaníadel siglo XXI
