HISTORICAL AND LEGAL ANALYSIS OF THE GREEK CIVIL WAR AND OF THE REFUGEE MOVEMENTS ARISING FROM IT

Abstract

The Greek Civil War of the first half of the 20th century is definitely one of the most significant events in the recent European history that deserves special attention and detailed research. For this reason, this paper will primarily analyze the beginning and course of the Greek civil war and the reasons for its occurrence. This paper will also sublimate the epilogue of the war and will pay special attention to the refugee movements that occur as a result of the same war. In this paper, in fact, an attempt will be made to explore the problem in detail or there will be attempt to find out what was the actual reason for the emergence of the civil war and how the war developed. Special attention will also be paid to the refugees from the civil war with special emphasis on the refugee children who during the war in large numbers left the Greek state in an attempt to find shelter. A variety of methods will be applied in the research and a thorough analysis of the concrete thematic will be made and primarily the historical method of research will be used, given that the research itself requires that
