The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between outdoor leader self-awareness and co-leaders\u27 perceptions of leader influence. Self-awareness was based on the concept of self-actualization (Maslow, 1968, 1970, 1971). The construct of influence was operationalized as power (French & Raven, 1959)
