This paper reports on a study that investi­gated the effects of a public school system\u27s one-day adventure experience on students\u27 self ­reports of life effectiveness. According to Neill, Marsh & Richards (1997), life effectiveness is defined as, the psychological and behavioral aspects of human functioning which determine a person\u27s effectiveness or proficiency in any given situation
