Este trabajo tiene por objetivo reflexionar sobre el concepto de prolepsis en relación con el proceso de construcción de mapas históricos que circulan en los libros de texto destinados a la enseñanza escolar de la historia nacional. Dichos mapas tienen como objetivo no sólo legitimar los relatos que acompañan sino, promover en los ciudadanos ciertas representaciones sobre el territorio nacional, con el fin de orientar sus acciones futuras. El territorio nacional imaginado y anhelado por los sectores gobernantes de un Estado nacional se introduce en el presente mediante formas particulares de graficar el territorio y legitimar las narrativas sobre el pasado. Esta imagen territorial circula en el ámbito escolar, entre otros dispositivos en los libros de texto, y promueve el desarrollo de la imaginación de una comunidad hacia ciertos objetivos políticos.This article is intended to reflect on the concept of prolepsis in the production process of the History maps used in textbooks to teach National History in schools. These maps are expected not only to legitimize the stories they go with, but also to promote certain representations among citizens about the national territory in order to guide their future actions. The national territory that leading sectors imagine and yearn for is introduced into the present through certain ways of illustrating the territory and legitimizing narratives from the past. This territorial image is spread in the school contexts through textbooks and other mechanisms to guide the development of a community vision towards certain political goals.Facultad de Psicologí
