Abstract

NUC-7738 reduces colony formation and LSC-like cells in leukemia (A) HL-60 cells were treated with NUC-7738 for 72 hours followed by plating 30 x 103 cells onto MethoCult medium and recording colonies after 14 days. The total number and size of colonies were reduced following NUC-7738 treatment (B) KG-1a cells were treated with 5, 10 and 20 μM NUC-7738 for 48 hours followed by cell surface staining for CD34, CD38 and CD123, in addition to DAPI staining to negate dead cells.
